It is now after Christmas and I can move the tank into the Family room from the garage.
I dump in all of the sand from the bags i got and start filling the tank with fresh water (I plan to mix the salt in later) And all of this gross foam.
Immediately I see that the water is cloudy and will have to wait for things to settle out.
Really cold water from the hose outside.
Gross foam. I tried skimming it off of the top.

After a few days you can finally see into the tank.
I start adding some rock work
Later on am informed i should place the rocks on the bottom of the tank so i have to dig down and drop the structure carefully to the bottom.
I decided the all brown look of the stand was not working for me so we decorated it and painted the trim.
Added some chaeto algae
